WeeFine WFA41 Optical Snoot M52

Description

A snoot that only masks the beam wastes most of the light, which is a problem with smaller lights that have no output to spare. The WFA41 is an optical snoot that uses lenses to gather a light's wide beam, around 100 degrees, and concentrate it into a spot of about 20 degrees. It screws into a light or strobe with a 52 mm thread, and a 52 mm female thread at its front takes a filter or further accessory. The anodised aluminium body measures 61 x 61 x 101 mm and weighs 117 g. On a macro dive it throws a defined spot onto a small subject against a dark background, on a night dive it lights one detail without flooding the scene, and in a creative session a coloured filter on its front thread tints the spot. It suits a macro shooter with a light or strobe that has a 52 mm thread.
