WeeFine WFA84 Optical Collector M52

Description

Some macro images need a spot of light tighter and more defined than a standard snoot gives, with a hard edge that separates the subject from a black background. The WFA84 is a long optical collector from WeeFine with an M52 thread, a lens at the front and a two-lug flange at the rear, built to concentrate a light's beam into a controlled spot. It is longer than WeeFine's shorter M52 collector, but WeeFine does not publish its beam angle, weight or the lights it was designed for, so the fit should be checked against the light before buying. On a macro dive it throws a defined spot onto a small subject, on a night dive it picks out one detail in the dark, and in a creative session it pairs with filters for coloured spots. It suits an experienced macro shooter building a snoot setup.
