WFH-TGS TG Camera Housing

Description

Taking an OM System TG camera deeper and working its controls with gloves on calls for a proper housing rather than the camera's own seals. The WFH-TGS is machined from aluminium alloy with a hard-anodised finish and repeats the camera's controls, including the microscope and macro modes, on external buttons and dials. It takes the TG-7, and the TG-6 and TG-5 with an L-shaped adapter, and the lens port carries 52 mm and 67 mm threads for wet lenses and ring lights. Two fibre-optic ports trigger external strobes, and three tripod threads on the base fit trays and plates. On a reef trip it turns a TG into a full macro rig with a close-up lens and two strobes, on a cold quarry dive the external controls stay usable with thick gloves, and on a flight with a baggage limit its compact build keeps the camera case small. It weighs 882.8 g on land and 295 g in water with the camera fitted. It suits a TG shooter who wants a light aluminium housing for travel.
