WFL05S Close-Up Wet Lens

Description

A strong dioptre that forces the camera almost onto the subject makes lighting awkward, while a weak one barely changes the image. The WFL05S sits between the two with +13 dioptres and a working distance of 60 to 85 mm, giving up to 2.5x magnification with a 105 mm f2.8 macro lens. Its four elements in three groups include ultra-low dispersion and aspheric elements to keep fringing and edge softness down. On a muck dive it frames small subjects with room for two strobes, on a night dive it pairs with a focus light at a practical distance, and on a macro-focused trip it covers most close-up work on its own. It is built for full-frame sensors with 60 to 105 mm lenses, weighs 410 g in air and 280 g in water, and fits any M67 port thread. It is rated to 60 m. It suits a full-frame macro shooter who wants one strong, versatile dioptre.
