WFL13 Close-Up Wet Lens

Description

Magnification is what separates a record shot of a small subject from a frame filled with texture and detail. The WFL13 adds +18 dioptres to a macro lens behind an M67 port, giving about 3x magnification with a focusing range of 30 to 53 mm. It is built for Micro Four Thirds and smaller sensors behind a lens of 60 mm or longer, with three elements combining high-refractive-index and low-dispersion glass to keep colour fringing down. At 72 mm across and 125 g in water it sits neatly on the port, and its slim front lets strobe light reach the subject at close range. On a muck dive it isolates small subjects, on a night dive it works with a focus light at close range, and on a reef it adds super-macro to a compact or mirrorless setup. A front 67 mm thread takes a filter or a ring light. It is rated to 60 m. It suits a macro photographer shooting Micro Four Thirds or a compact.
