WFS09 Ring Strobe and Video Light

Description

A photographer who also wants video clips usually has to choose between a strobe and a video light, or carry both. The WFS09 combines them in one head: a 60 Ws ring flash tube behind a 140 degree glass dome surrounds a 3000 lumen COB video light at 5000 K with a colour rendering index above 90. The strobe recycles in 0.9 s at full power, steps through 11 levels from 1 to 60 Ws, and gives more than 600 full-power flashes per charge from the USB-C 21.6 Wh pack. On a reef it shoots wide-angle stills, on the same dive it switches to video light for a clip, and on a trip it cuts the heads and chargers in the bag. A colour LCD rotates to suit the mounting position, Bluetooth handles firmware updates, and the video light runs about 50 minutes on its own at full brightness. It weighs 655 g on land and 130 g in water and is rated to 100 m. It suits a hybrid shooter who wants strobe and video light in one unit.
