H2O Weight Retainer Blue

Description

In a club or school kit store every weight belt looks the same, and the wrong one tends to go home with someone after a busy weekend. A coloured retainer marks a belt at a glance while doing its real job, which is keeping block weights where they were put. This H2O retainer is a serrated plastic keeper that threads onto the belt webbing and grips it, so one either side of a block stops the weight sliding round the belt during the dive. Trim is the reason: a weight that migrates drags the diver off level, and the usual response is more air in the BCD rather than a fix to the belt. Moving a weight later takes seconds, sliding the retainers with it, and needs no tools. Blue sits between the plain black and the high-visibility lime. It suits a diver or dive school wanting belts that stay put and stay identifiable.
