H2O Weight Retainer Lime

Description

Lime is the colour that shows up on a dark boat deck or at the bottom of a gear bin, which is where a weight belt tends to get mislaid. Beyond being easy to spot, this H2O retainer keeps block weights from travelling. It is a serrated plastic keeper that threads onto the belt webbing and bites into it, so one fitted either side of a block locks the weight in position for the whole dive. Weights that slide round a belt pull a diver out of trim and get compensated with extra air in the BCD, which only adds to the work of holding depth. Repositioning a weight later means sliding the retainers along with it, on the surface and without tools. Black and blue versions are stocked for anyone wanting a plainer look or a colour code across several belts. It suits a diver who wants a belt that is easy to find and stays balanced.
