Description

Cold across the kidneys on a long dive nearly always traces back to a top and leggings that parted at the waist without the diver noticing. One garment cannot do that, and closing off that failure is the reason to choose this over the two-piece. The build is the two-layer system Fourth Element pioneered, a tough outer face bonded to a brushed inner, and that outer sheds water instead of drinking it, so the garment comes out of the water lighter. Entry is by a full-length front zip running from the collar to below the waist, with zipped hip pockets on each side. Thumb loops hold the sleeves while a drysuit goes on and stirrups do the same at the foot, so there is no overlap to check and nothing riding up mid-donning. Sixteen options run 2X Small to 3X Large with Short lengths, in black. A J2 or Xerotherm base layer goes underneath. It suits a woman who wants no gap at the waist.
