Description

Trapped air against the ear slows equalisation, which is what most hoods do to a freediver. Perforating the ear panels lets a small volume through so the ears clear at the pace a descent demands, and that alone sets this apart from a generic hooded vest. It adds a 3mm hood plus a further 3mm over the body core, taking an RF1 torso to 6mm and putting neoprene over the head for the first time, which is what carries a warm-water freediving suit into cooler conditions without buying a second one. Sessions run longer because the head, the fastest route for heat to leave, is finally covered. It goes on over the suit rather than under it, leaving shoulder mobility untouched. A Glideskin outer face cuts drag and sheds surface film rather than absorbing it. Sizing spans 2X Small through 2X Large, black throughout. It is built around the RF1 women's suit and the RF2 two-piece. It suits a woman freediving in cooler water.
