SCUBAPRO Wrist Strap (Aladin Square, Sport Matrix, One Matrix)

Description

A hardened wrist strap is the most common reason a working dive computer gets left in a bag. This is the replacement strap for the Aladin Square, Aladin Sport Matrix and Aladin One Matrix, supplied on its own rather than as a strap and boot set. Rubber stiffens under ultraviolet and salt until it will not take a buckle pin without complaint, and the failure comes at a buckle hole while it is being fastened with cold wet hands. A strap replaced before a trip is the cheap version of that event; one that parts on the boat is not, because nothing else will hold a computer on a wrist. Divers keeping a second computer as a backup tend to find its strap perished long before the electronics, since rubber ages in storage as readily as in use. It suits an Aladin Square, Sport Matrix or One Matrix whose strap has hardened, cracked or torn.
