SCUBAPRO Wrist Strap & Boot (Prime, Tec, 2G, Digital 330)

Description

The boot is the moulded surround the computer body sits in, and the strap threads through the boot rather than into the computer. Replace only the strap on a worn mount and the new strap sits in a stretched boot, which is why these are sold as a pair. This set fits the Prime, the Tec, the 2G and the new Digital 330. Both parts are consumables. Rubber hardens under ultraviolet and salt, and the failure comes at a buckle hole while the strap is being fastened, usually on a boat, usually with a wet hand. Replacing the pair restores the mount properly instead of patching half of it. The strap is also sold on its own. It suits a worn computer mount rather than a worn strap.
