SCUBAPRO Wrist Strap Compass FS1/FS2

Description

A loose strap is a navigation fault, not a comfort one. A compass card only swings freely when the housing is held flat, and a strap that has stretched lets the compass tilt on the wrist, at which point the card binds against its pivot and the bearing it reads is simply wrong. The diver follows it anyway. This is the replacement band for the FS1 and FS2 wrist compasses, and fitting one restores the firm flat mounting the instrument needs. Judge the old one by whether it still holds the compass steady when the arm is turned rather than by how it looks, since a strap can appear sound and still let the housing rock. It suits an FS1 or FS2 compass whose strap has stretched, hardened or split.
