Description

Cold water is where a hardened strap fails, because rubber stiffens as the temperature drops and a strap that was merely old on the surface becomes brittle at depth. Silicone does not do that. It keeps its flexibility through the temperature range a diver actually works in, which is the practical argument for this compound over the standard rubber, and it sits more kindly against bare skin for anyone who wears the computer topside as well. This is the black version for the G3, A1 and A2. Treat it as a consumable in any case: a strap that has lost its stretch or shows cracking at the buckle holes is due. It suits a G3, A1 or A2 worn in cold water or worn daily.
