Apeks WSX-45 Bladder

Description

A sidemount bladder lives in the places a backmount wing never goes: dragged along cave ceilings, pushed through wreck doorways, scraped over rock. The Apeks WSX-45 bladder is built for that abuse in Armoguard, a material taken from public safety and military diving that Apeks rate at ten times the abrasion resistance of standard Cordura. It gives 200 N, 45 lb of lift, and the inflator is reversible, mounting on the left, the right or the upper left shoulder to suit the diver's configuration. Grommets at the lower corners take bungee to keep the bladder streamlined against the body. For a WSX-45 owner with a damaged bladder, it replaces the cell without replacing the harness. For a diver adding a spare for a remote expedition, it is the backup. For a centre running sidemount courses, it keeps a rig in service. Harness, plate, bungee and butt pack are not included. It suits a WSX-45 sidemount diver.
