Backmount Trim Pockets

Description

A diver who finishes every dive feet-low is usually carrying the right amount of lead in the wrong place. Moving a small part of it up onto the cylinder or the upper backplate rotates the whole body flat without adding a gram to the total. These pockets do that job and nothing else: the weight in them is fixed rather than ditchable, which is the point, because trim weight that can be dumped is trim that can disappear at the worst moment. An internal hard polymer plate keeps each pocket in shape so it does not sag into the wing or roll on the cam band. M takes two 1.5 kg blocks, L takes two 3 kg, and both mount to a standard cam band or 50 mm webbing. They are sold as a pair. They suit a backmount diver correcting a feet-heavy trim problem.
