XDEEP Bolt Snap

Description

Plated bolt snaps look identical to solid ones for about a season, then the plating lifts and the spring seizes with corrosion underneath. These are marine-grade stainless steel throughout, with nothing on the surface to wear off, which is why they keep working long after the plated ones have been thrown away. Five patterns cover the usual jobs: single-ended for a torch or a spool, double-ended for a stage clipped fore and aft, and the NX regulator, stage and sidemount versions. The NX gate is the one to look at for cold water, with a wider thumb slide and a deeper knurl that can be found and worked in 5 mm gloves rather than by feel alone. All of them fit any 6 mm D-ring, XDEEP or otherwise. They suit a diver replacing plated hardware, or kitting out a new rig properly.
