XDEEP Cam Band

Description

A cylinder that has slipped in its band is felt before it is seen, usually as the rig rolling on the back halfway through a dive. Webbing that stretches when wet is normally the cause. This band uses stiff non-stretch webbing that holds the tension it was set at, wet or dry, so the cylinder stays where it was put on the surface. The buckle comes in polyacetal or stainless steel. Polyacetal is unaffected by salt water and holds its properties across a wide temperature range, which suits a diver who rinses badly or dives cold, while stainless suits anyone who prefers metal on a working part. It fits any single tank adapter or backplate using conventional cam band slots. It suits a diver replacing a stretched band, or building a single cylinder rig from parts.
