XDEEP Closed DSMB 90 cm

A closed 90 cm delayed surface marker buoy in orange, for ascents where you want the boat to see you before you get there.

Closed means it holds air on the way up rather than spilling it, so it stands upright at the surface instead of folding over. Ninety centimetres suits shore diving and settled conditions. In swell, or from a boat that sits well off, a longer buoy carries further and is the better call.

Oral inflation with an overpressure valve. Deploy it from a spool or reel, never from a hand-held loop of line.
