XDEEP Fin Spring Straps

Description

The buckle on a rubber fin strap is the part that lets go, usually as you are climbing a ladder with one hand on the rail. A spring replaces the whole mechanism with something that has nothing to release. It holds constant tension, so the fin pulls on over a 3 mm boot in summer and a drysuit boot in winter without being reset between them, and there is no ratchet waiting to slip halfway through a dive. That also removes an adjustment nobody makes underwater anyway. It is worth having as the original on a new pair, as a replacement when a strap has aged, and as a spare in a save-a-dive kit, since a fin with no strap is a dive lost. These are the same straps the EX1 ships with. It suits any EX1 owner. Size them to the fin rather than to your boot, since L and XL match the two fin sizes.
