XDEEP Ghost Set

Description

Airline baggage allowances decide more dive trips than most divers admit, and a full backplate rig in aluminium and steel eats the whole of one. The Ghost set weighs 2.2 kg complete in Standard trim and 2.4 kg in Deluxe, roughly a kilogram less than a standard aluminium build and three less than steel. The saving comes from the backplate and single tank adapter, machined in an aerospace-grade aluminium and magnesium alloy rather than cut from plate. It is not a compromise on lift: 17 kg from a single shell 1100 dTEX Cordura wing covers a single cylinder anywhere warm, and the modular weight system takes up to 16 kg when the destination turns out colder than expected. Standard adjusts on tri-gliders, Deluxe on ITW Nexus quick-release buckles, and sizes are S under 175 cm and L above. It suits a diver who flies to most of their diving.
