XDEEP Hydros DIR Set

Description

A wing sized for twin cylinders usually puts a fat roll of fabric behind the head, which is exactly where a hand needs to go for a valve shutdown. The Hydros keeps its volume low at the top for that reason: the lift is there, and the cylinder valves stay reachable. Two sizes cover different work. The Hydros 40 gives 18 kg and suits advanced recreational doubles with up to two stages, while the Hydros 50 gives 22 kg and is built for deep decompression diving with a heavier stage load. The bladder is a toroidal double shell, 1100 dTEX Cordura over a 440 dTEX nylon inner, so an abrasion to the outer does not end the dive. It arrives complete on an 11 inch plate in aluminium or stainless steel, with a one-piece harness and no quick release in the shoulder path. It suits a diver moving to twin cylinders.
