OPRV Dump Valve

Description

A wing that will not hold air overnight is usually not a punctured bladder. Far more often it is the overpressure relief valve, where a grain of grit under the seat holds it a fraction open and the wing weeps. That is a rebuild rather than a replacement, which is why this part is sold two ways: the top part with spring and piston for a valve that is weeping but otherwise sound, and the complete valve where the seat or the threads themselves are damaged. In use it does two jobs, venting automatically at a set pressure as the wing expands on ascent, and acting as a manual dump on a pull cord when gas needs to come out quickly. It fits XDEEP wings using the standard screwed OPRV fitting. It suits a diver servicing a wing that has started losing gas.
