XDEEP Project Set

Description

Twin cylinders change the shape of a dive: the failure that matters is a valve or a manifold, and the response is a shutdown reached with a hand behind the head. The Project set is built around that. The upper wing section is deliberately small so the valves stay clear, and 23 kg of lift carries a twinset without ballooning into the way. The harness is one unbroken piece of webbing with no buckle in the shoulder path, because a buckle there is a component that can release under load. A V-shaped crotch strap runs from two plate slots with two rear cargo D-rings for a scooter or a stage. The NX plate carries an enlarged upper section that shifts load off the lumbar region, in aluminium or stainless steel, in torso sizes S and L. It suits a diver moving into twin cylinder and decompression diving.
