XDEEP Single Tank Adapter

Description

A backplate is built around twin cylinders, so putting a single cylinder on one needs an adapter to carry the cam bands. Which adapter matters more than it first appears. The one-piece aluminium and stainless versions use standard 11 inch spacing and bolt straight to any conventional plate. The NX versions carry the cylinder closer to the back, which shortens the lever arm and makes the rig feel less inclined to roll, and their cam band positions move so the cylinder can be set for the diver rather than for the plate. The Ghost adapter is machined from an aerospace-grade aluminium and magnesium alloy where travel weight is the deciding factor. Cam bands are sold separately, with polyacetal or stainless steel buckles. It suits a diver running a single cylinder on a backplate rather than a jacket.
