A stainless steel buckle for 50 mm harness webbing. It's the standard XDEEP replacement, and it works on a weight belt as readily as on a backplate harness.
Nothing spring-loaded, nothing to seize. The webbing threads through and friction does the work, which is why this pattern has stayed unchanged on technical harnesses for decades. Worth carrying a spare if you dive somewhere remote.
