XDEEP TEC Harness

Description

A harness with no buckle in the shoulder path cannot come undone in the shoulder path, which is the entire argument for the one-piece design and the reason it has outlived every attempt to improve on it. This is that harness: one continuous length of stiff polyamide webbing, set once to the diver and then left alone. It arrives with five welded and polished 6 mm stainless steel D-rings, a crotch strap and the hardware to set the ring positions, so nothing else has to be sourced to build a working rig. The plate choice does the weighting, with aluminium on the TEC AL and stainless steel on the TEC SS, which adds roughly 2 kg on the back and takes the same off the belt. Webbing is 50 mm throughout. It suits a diver building a technical rig on a plate rather than adapting a recreational one.
