XDEEP Zen Set

Description

A donut wing puts gas all the way round the cylinder, so it vents from the shoulder or the bottom without the diver having to work out where the bubble has gone. That is the Zen, and 19 kg of lift makes it the set most single-cylinder divers end up on, whether that means a warm reef in a shorty, a cold shore dive in a drysuit with a steel 12, or a training weekend where the rig goes on and off a dozen times. The plate is the NX with its enlarged upper section, which moves load off the lumbar region on long dives, and the shoulder straps run 20 per cent longer when unfastened so the rig goes on over a drysuit without a fight. Complete weight is 3 kg on aluminium and 5.1 kg on stainless in Standard trim, and the modular weight system runs to 16 kg. It suits a diver moving from a jacket to a plate.
