XL4 Ocea 1st Stage DIN

Description

The first stage is where most of the metal in a regulator sits, so it is where a change of material actually counts. The Ocea head is lead free brass with trivalent chrome plating, which uses less energy to apply than traditional chrome. Underneath it is the XL4+ platform: environmentally sealed, over balanced, cold water capable. On a stage cylinder it feeds a dedicated second stage without the cost of a full regulator. On a twinset build a second head completes the pair. On a travel trip the XL4 platform is the lightest Apeks make, which matters when the baggage allowance decides what comes. Two colourways are offered, Mint and Grey. It suits a diver extending an Ocea or XL4 rig, and it is supplied as a first stage only, without a second stage or hoses.
