XTX40 2nd Stage

Description

A second stage takes all the abuse a regulator gets, so replacing one on its own is far cheaper than replacing a first stage that is still working perfectly. This is the XTX40 second stage supplied without a first stage. On a rebuild it drops onto an existing DS4 or DST and restores the rig. On a stage or deco cylinder it becomes a dedicated second stage on a hose the diver already owns. On a rig being reconfigured the reversible spindle lets the hose be switched from one side to the other without a workshop. It is pneumatically balanced, so the breathe stays consistent as cylinder pressure falls, and the venturi lever stops an accidental free flow at the surface. The Comfobite mouthpiece reduces jaw fatigue on a long dive. It suits a diver replacing or adding a second stage to an existing Apeks first stage.
