XTX40 Regulator with DS4 DIN

Description

An entry point into a range is only worth having if it is the real thing rather than a stripped shell, and the XTX40 is the XTX housing on the DS4 first stage. The DS4 body is precision machined with four medium pressure ports and one high pressure port, environmentally sealed and over balanced, so the breathe holds at depth and in cold water. On a single cylinder rig four medium pressure ports cover the primary, the octopus, the inflator and a drysuit feed. On a computer equipped rig the high pressure port takes a transmitter instead of a gauge. On a rental or club fleet the simpler second stage means fewer controls for a newer diver to get wrong. The second stage is left and right hand reversible, so the hose can be routed to either side. It suits a diver buying a first serious regulator, and the XTX50 adds the turret and breathing effort control.
