Apeks XTX50 Nitrox Regulator DIN

Description

A regulator used on high oxygen mixes has to be built and prepared for it, because ordinary lubricants and seals become a fire risk in an oxygen rich gas. This is the XTX50 in its nitrox specification, oxygen clean and rated for use with up to 100 percent oxygen. It is colour coded, so it cannot be mistaken for an air regulator on a crowded boat deck. Underneath it is the standard XTX50: a DST first stage with four medium pressure ports on a rotating turret, and a second stage with breathing effort adjustment, a venturi lever and a progressive purge. On a decompression dive it runs the oxygen or rich nitrox stage. On a technical build the turret keeps hose routing clean. It suits a technical diver assembling dedicated deco regulators, and the M26 version uses the oxygen specific thread.
