Description

Rubber perishes. It hardens with ultraviolet light, it goes brittle with salt, and the boot on a dive computer takes more of both than the computer does because it is the part in contact with everything. When it splits, the computer is no longer held and the case is no longer protected, which is a poor way to lose an instrument that still works perfectly. This is the replacement boot for the Zoop Novo and Vyper Novo. Three reasons to fit one: a boot that has cracked at a corner, a second-hand computer that arrives with a tired one, and a club unit that has been through several seasons of students. It costs very little against the computer it protects. It suits any Zoop Novo or Vyper Novo owner. Check it at the start of a season and change it on the evidence of hardening rather than waiting for the split.
