Amphibian 6.5mm Dive Boot

Description

Falls in full kit happen on wet rock, and what stands between a controlled entry and one of those is a properly moulded tread underfoot. This is the heavy-duty boot in the range, built for divers whose entry involves walking. The outsole carries a deep moulded tread wrapping the toe and heel, over a footbed stiff enough to stop the sole folding under load on a ladder rung or a boulder. The neoprene is 6.5mm. A side zip handles entry, covered by a Velcro pull tab that both holds the zip closed and keeps the tab itself clear of a fin strap. Ten UK sizes run 4 to 13, black throughout. Any open-heel fin with a spring or rubber strap will take them, the Tech Fin and Rec Fin included. Travelling divers are better served by the lighter Pelagic, and the Rock Hopper is the low-cut option. Fourth Element publish no weight. It suits a diver doing regular shore entries over rock.
