Description

Loading a speargun means bracing the butt against the chest and pulling hard, repeatedly, and an ordinary wetsuit wears through at exactly that point within a season. The Apnea carries a redesigned loading chestplate for that reason, alongside special kneepads that take the abrasion of working off rock and dragging over a boat deck. The cut is given particular attention around the areas where the body suffers most friction, which is what stops the suit chafing across a long day rather than only a short dive. The internal layer is metallic black, and the suit is offered in 3.5 mm, 5 mm and 7 mm so it can be matched to the water rather than compromised. Sizes run S to 2XL. It suits a spearfisher or freediver who loads a gun repeatedly and needs a suit that survives it.
