Beachwalker RS

Description

The walk from the car to the water is where holidays get ruined, on hot sand, sharp shells and slipways covered in barnacles. The Beachwalker RS is built for that walk rather than for diving. A 2 mm neoprene and nylon mesh upper gives protection with some warmth and lets water out again, and a thermo-rubber outsole grips wet rock and concrete where a bare foot or a flip-flop will not. A neoprene foam footbed makes it comfortable enough to keep on for the rest of the day rather than something endured for fifty metres. It is a snorkelling and beach shoe, not a fin boot: it is not shaped to go inside a fin pocket, and it does not pretend to insulate for scuba. That answers a rocky shore entry, a beach with hot sand, and a boat deck in the sun. It suits a snorkeller or beach swimmer who wants their feet protected on the way in and out.
