Bonica Snapper HDDV Replacement Housing

Description

A cracked or badly scratched outer housing ends a Snapper's diving while the camera inside is often fine, and the Bonica Snapper HDDV Replacement Housing puts it back underwater without buying the whole package again. It is the polycarbonate outer housing made for the Snapper 1080P HDDV camera and is rated to 55 m. The camera goes in still wearing its silicone skin, which stays sealed as a second barrier if the outer housing ever leaks. Control pins on the housing operate the camera's functions underwater, so recording, zoom and stills stay in reach without opening anything. Bonica fitted housings shipped after April 2011 with an attachment bracket carrying three tabs for its bayonet adaptor, which takes 46 mm wet lenses that can go on and come off during a dive. Before each dive the seal should be checked and the housing locks closed, as with any housing. It suits a Snapper owner whose housing is worn, damaged or lost.
