Description

When a Snapper camera fails but the housing and skin are still sound, the Bonica Snapper 1080P HDDV Replacement Camera swaps in without changing the rest of the kit. It is the camera supplied in the Snapper dive packages and fits the existing silicone skin and polycarbonate housing. On its own the camera is not waterproof, so it only dives inside those two layers. Video records at 1440 x 1080 at 30 frames per second or 1280 x 720 at 60 frames per second, and stills reach 8 MP with a built-in flash. A 3x optical zoom and a macro mode focusing from 5 to 30 cm handle both wide scenes and close subjects, while built-in LED lights and a NightShot setting help in dim conditions. Files save as .MOV to SD or SDHC cards up to 32 GB and show on a 2.4 inch fold-out LCD. The lithium-ion battery charges in the camera from a mains adaptor or over USB. It suits a Snapper owner replacing a failed or flooded camera.
