Bright Weights Tank Net

Description

A steel 12 and an aluminium 12 are not the same diameter, which is why this is sized by material as well as capacity rather than by litres alone. Get it wrong in one direction and the net slides down and bunches at the boot; wrong in the other and it will not pass the valve. Eight fitments cover 6, 7, 10, 12, 15 and 18 litre steel cylinders and 10 and 12 litre aluminium. The netting is resistant nylon in an open weave, so water runs straight off and the cylinder dries instead of sitting damp under a cover, and the paint survives a season of racks and bakkie floors. It solves a smaller problem too: on a boat with eight identical black cylinders, a net is how a diver finds theirs. It fits over the body rather than the boot, so a boot can stay on. Pull it off once a season to check the paint underneath. It suits a diver protecting a cylinder finish.
