Bungee Reg Necklace

Description

A backup second stage clipped to a chest D-ring has to be found, unclipped and turned the right way up. An out-of-gas diver arriving in front does not leave time for that. A bungee necklace carries the backup under the chin instead, where it reaches the mouth in one motion with either hand while the primary is being donated, and on a long hose configuration it is what makes the donation work at all. Fitting takes no tools: remove the mouthpiece clip, lay the cord in the groove and refit the clip over it. Nothing about the second stage changes and breathing performance is untouched. The bungee stretches over a hood and pulls the regulator back to the same place every time it is dropped. SCUBAPRO list it in the S-TEK technical range alongside the bolt snaps and D-rings.
