Description

Less foam means less lead on the belt, because ballast is only there to offset what the suit floats, and on a long shore entry over rock at Miller's Point that saving registers before the water is reached. This is the Class B suit in the Definition range, certified from 10 to 18 degrees Celsius, a band that covers a Sodwana summer and a warm day in False Bay while stopping short of Atlantic winter. It swims easier than the 7 millimetre without giving up the cut or the finish. The pattern is the Body Map System, a 3D cut using tailoring and material inserts to follow the body rather than wrap it, with an Ultraspan chest panel and Stretchtec on the body, sides, arms and legs placing stretch at the shoulder and hip. The X-Foam neoprene is limestone-based, bonded with solvent-free adhesive, lined with infrared across the front and back torso. Entry is a diagonal rear YKK zip on a brass slider. Six sizes run S to 3XL. It suits a diver working temperate water in summer.
