Description

A thick suit grips hardest at the extremities, which is where divers end up sitting on a bench waiting for someone to help pull a sleeve off. Extra-long wrist and ankle zips are the answer on this one, and they are why 7 mm comes off unaided at the end of a cold dive. A small neck zipper opens topside as well, so the suit stays on between dives instead of being peeled to the waist. It replaces the earlier 6.5 mm and is CE certified Class A for water between 7 and 12 degrees Celsius, the extra half millimetre arriving with more stretch rather than more bulk. An Ultraspan chest panel works with Stretchtec on the body, sides, arms and legs, with tailored panels behind the knees, over an infrared lining on the front and back torso backed by silver plush throughout. Entry is a diagonal rear YKK zipper on a brass slider. Five sizes are stocked. It suits a woman diving cold water without a drysuit.
