Divesoft Flow Limiter for QD Connection

Description

Analysing a cylinder that is already rigged usually means stripping the regulator off, and the Divesoft Flow Limiter for QD Connection avoids that step. It plugs onto the quick-disconnect end of a low-pressure inflator hose, so the sample comes straight through the regulator first stage while everything stays assembled. Divesoft rates the output at 0.2 litres per minute at 10 bar, the same sample flow its analysers are rated for. On a twinset or sidemount day a mix can be rechecked on the boat with the regulators still mounted, using the wing or drysuit inflator hose. On a recreational rig the BCD inflator hose does the same job before a nitrox dive. The fitting is cylindrical with a 5.8 mm diameter and joins the analyser through the Divesoft connection hose, sold separately. It is designed for gas analysis with Divesoft analysers; Divesoft lists a different limiter for CCR Liberty work. It suits divers with Divesoft analysers who want to check a mix without taking their kit apart.
