Divesoft QRF Quick Release Buckle 50 mm

Description

A harness buckle has to stay shut for the whole dive and still open on purpose with cold hands, and the Divesoft QRF Quick Release Buckle is built around that balance. It joins two 50 mm straps with a simple hook, and it only opens when both side levers are lifted at the same time. If one lever is caught by mistake, the buckle stays connected and a spring pulls the lever back. The levers are shaped to be found and lifted in thick gloves, with numb fingers or in poor visibility, and their place on the sides keeps other kit from nudging them. On a harness the active half with the levers is threaded through and sewn onto one strap, while the passive half threads on so the strap length stays easy to adjust. All edges are rounded and polished so the webbing is not cut, the body is stainless steel, and the active part is riveted and cannot come apart. It suits technical divers who want a dependable quick release on a 50 mm diving harness strap.
