Description

A fuse-cut wrist slides over the hand instead of gripping it, which is why this suit goes on faster than its thickness suggests. Ankles get the other treatment, internal seals behind zippered cuffs on YKK brass sliders. The foam is Yulex Dive, plant-based and made from FSC-certified natural rubber in place of petrochemical neoprene, formulated to resist compression at depth and 100 percent neoprene-free. Thickness runs 5 mm through the torso and 4 mm on the arms and legs, CE certified Class B for water between 10 and 18 degrees Celsius, a rating worth reading before ordering since the cold-water suit in the range is the 7.5/5.0 mm. Outer seams are double blind-stitched and inner seams single blind-stitched against bare skin. Abrasion lining across the seat and shoulders takes the wear from a boat bench and a cylinder, with printed pads on knees and shoulders covering a rocky shore entry. Entry is a vertical rear YKK zipper with a long webbing puller. Ten fittings are stocked. It suits a diver working temperate water who wants no neoprene.
