Description

Thick suits usually cost a diver ten minutes on the boat, most of it spent getting a sleeve off. The zipped wrists here open wide enough that a 7.5 mm arm comes free unaided, and the same treatment is on the ankles, internal seals sitting behind YKK brass sliders. The cut is a woman's own, so a cold-water suit no longer means borrowing a men's pattern and belting in the waist. Certification is CE Class A, rated 7 to 12 degrees Celsius, which is what separates it from the 5/4 mm version in the same range. Yulex Dive replaces petrochemical neoprene with plant-based foam made from FSC-certified natural rubber, formulated to resist the compression that costs a wetsuit its insulation at depth. Thickness is 7.5 mm across the torso and 5.0 mm on the arms and legs. A Blue Diamond Span inner fleece drains and warms behind a second black lining, and both arms carry a strap mount for wrist instruments. It suits a woman diving cold water in a wetsuit.
