Description

Most buoyancy compensators are a rigid shell that the diver has to move inside. The Exotec articulates at the waist through the BioReact system, so it bends as the body bends rather than resisting it. On a long dive that removes the fight a stiff jacket puts up every time a diver turns. On a boat deck the Wrapture harness carries the cylinder weight on the hips, so it is possible to stand and walk upright rather than hunching under it. On a shore entry GripTek fabric stops it sliding out of position. The bladder is Armoguard, the same fabric used on the public safety range, and it does not absorb water. Every component and strap is modular, so it is repaired rather than replaced. A gauge sleeve and a dedicated octopus pocket keep instruments and the backup where they belong. It suits a recreational diver who values fit above all.
