Description

Below about twelve degrees a one-piece suit stops being enough, because there is only so much a single layer and one zip can do about water exchange. The Fisterra answers that with a two-piece system: a one-piece jacket with an integrated hood and button fastening at the crotch, worn over full-torso dungaree-style trousers, so the torso carries a double layer of neoprene and there is no zip line running down the back. That layering is what makes it highly watertight and why it was originally developed for professional divers working cold water for extended periods. The 8 mm version is rated for 7 to 12 degrees, with a 5 mm version covering 16 to 24. Sizes S to 2XL. It suits a professional or committed cold water diver spending long periods in the water.
