Description

Cold hands are the most common reason a technical dive gets cut short, and ordinary insulation is worst placed to help: it crushes flat under a dryglove and again under pressure at depth, losing most of its value on the way down. ARGON aerogel in a compression-resistant matrix does not, so the insulating layer is still there at the bottom rather than only on the surface. It is the same technology as the Halo AR undersuit, applied to the place divers feel cold first. Bulk is kept deliberately low, because a dryglove has a fixed internal volume and anything thicker restricts the hand, so the answer here is a better insulator rather than a thicker one. Sizing spans X Small through 2X Large, black throughout. These are liners worn inside a dryglove system rather than wet gloves in their own right. For wet diving the 5mm Hydrolock glove or the 7mm mitt are the right choices. It suits a technical diver with cold hands.
