Heavy Duty Dry Suit Boot

Description

A drysuit carrying no boot of its own leaves a diver being helped down to the water rather than walking to it. This lace-up boot goes over the neoprene or latex sock and makes a rocky shore entry workable. The upper is nylon and neoprene, flexible enough to stay comfortable after a full day in the water, on a heavy-duty textured rubber sole cut for ultra grip. Moulded rubber caps protect toe and heel, and the heel cap carries a fin strap keeper, which earns its place: an open heel strap rides up a smooth drysuit sock under a hard kick, and the moulded step stops it. A quick-lace system sets the fit in one pull. Sole lengths run from 26 to 32 centimetres, listed UK5 to UK10 while SCUBAPRO's own chart labels the same run XS to 2XL, so sole length is the measurement to order on. The boot suits open heel fins only, gives no warmth of its own, and is a drysuit accessory rather than a wetsuit boot. It suits a drysuit diver doing shore entries.
